Each test delivers a precise, clinical-grade reading. Combine two or three in the same appointment to see your whole physiology at once. Unsure where to begin? Take the 60-second quiz.
DEXA Body Composition Scan
The gold standard for body composition. It measures fat, lean tissue, and bone density area by area at ±2% clinical accuracy, so you learn what your body is built from rather than what the scale reads.
VO₂ Max Test
The most reliable single predictor of long-term health and lifespan. Walk or run on a treadmill while we measure your aerobic ceiling, then build the plan to push it higher. Available as a VO₂ Max or a gentler VO₂ Submax test.
Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) Test
Standard calculators can be off by as much as ±20% on your real metabolism. Breathe into a mask for 15 minutes to get your exact daily calorie baseline, so your nutrition aligns with your biology rather than fighting it.
Combined Testing Bundles
Combine any two tests, or take all three in one appointment, for a fuller reading and a lower rate than booking each on its own.

How it works
Arrive. Measured. Informed.
From the moment you book to the moment you walk out with answers, here is what the visit looks like.
Choose your tests
Take one, or combine two or three in the same visit. Unsure what fits? Take the 60-second quiz and we'll point you to the right one.
Visit and get tested
Most tests last 8 to 15 minutes. No needles. DEXA, VO₂ Max, and RMR are each non-invasive. Show up prepped per your session guide.
Walk out with your report
Every figure arrives with context: what it means and the move it points to. Not raw output, but a clear next step.

Common questions.
DexaFit combines clinical-grade equipment with data-powered reporting drawn from over a decade of real-world data across four continents. Most providers leave you holding a number. We give you the number, the context behind it, the likely drivers, and a clear next step.
Yes. A DEXA scan uses a very low dose of X-ray radiation, well under a standard chest X-ray and close to a few hours of the background radiation you absorb in everyday life. The technology has served hospitals and research labs for decades and is regarded as safe for most healthy adults.
The DEXA scan takes about 8 minutes to administer. With check-in and a walk-through of your results, plan on about 30 minutes total. The VO₂ Max or VO₂ Submax test takes about 15 minutes to administer. With check-in, a warm-up, and a results walk-through, plan on about 45 minutes total. The RMR test takes about 15 minutes to administer. With check-in and a walk-through, plan on about 30 minutes total. Booking all three in one visit usually wraps in an hour and a half or less.
Both measure your cardiorespiratory fitness by analyzing your breathing while you exercise. A VO₂ Max test has you build up to your true maximal effort, which gives the most precise ceiling on your aerobic capacity. A VO₂ Submax test estimates that same number from how your body responds at lower, more comfortable effort, so you never have to push to exhaustion. Submax is a good fit if you are newer to training, prefer an easier session, or want a gentler option. Both give you an actionable VO₂ number and heart-rate training zones.
On GLP-1 therapy, the DEXA scan is the one that counts most. It reveals whether the weight you're shedding is fat or muscle, which the scale cannot show. Roughly 1 in 3 pounds lost on GLP-1 is lean mass, and a DEXA tells you whether that applies to you. Adding RMR rounds out the full metabolic view.
Yes, and we recommend it. DexaFit reports use the same clinical technology and terminology that physicians know. Many clients carry their results to a GP, endocrinologist, sports medicine doctor, or dietitian. The data fits straight into a clinical conversation.
Most clients come back every 3 to 6 months to track how their body answers shifts in training, nutrition, or protocol. One visit sets your baseline. Repeat visits reveal what's working, right down to the tissue level.
